About the Role
Toggle Electric Inc. is seeking a skilled and accountable Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in Meaford, Ontario. With 25 years of distinguished experience, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and light industrial projects throughout Grey County.
You will be responsible for leading installations, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring every project exceeds safety and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a journeyman electrician looking to grow their career with an established, community-focused electrical contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications
- Lead and mentor apprentices on-site, fostering a culture of safety and excellence
- Communicate effectively with clients in Meaford, Thornbury, and surrounding Grey County areas
- Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems and provide solutions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Valid 309A Construction and Maintenance License
- Registered and in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario
- Valid G-Class Driver's License with a clean abstract
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to work in various environments
